Clarke Chapman is delighted to welcome our 2024 apprentices to the Assembly & Test and Machining sections at our Gateshead facility (see photo attached). This year, five apprentices are embarking on their apprenticeship journey with the support of our training partner, SETA (Sunderland Engineering Training Association Limited).
During the first phase of their training, which lasts 6–7 months, the apprentices will learn the fundamentals of their trade, gain a solid understanding of the workplace, and develop the essential skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen disciplines.
Following this initial training period, they will join their respective teams at Clarke Chapman in Gateshead, where they will continue their development. Working alongside our highly skilled workforce in Mechanical, Electrical, and Machining departments, they will refine their craft while pursuing qualifications in their relevant disciplines.
We extend our best wishes to all our new apprentices and look forward to supporting them throughout their exciting apprenticeship journey.
